Jogging & Running turned out to fix Memory [share] Good for agan2 who like to forget

We all know walking is good for your body.

But it turns out to give the magic ran into brain cells, referring to the research of scientists at Cambridge University

Jogging regularly leads to the growth of new cells in the brain regions that enhance your memory, a study has found.

It is not clear why aerobic exercise trigger the growth of gray matter (known as neurogenesis), but it may be associated with increased blood flow or higher levels of hormones released during exercise.

Timothy Bussey a neuroscientist at Cambridge and the study's senior author said the team studied two groups of mice, one of which has access to running wheels for rats, while the other group did not.

After a few days left alone, they put both groups of mice through a series of memory tests on the computer screen.

Both groups were tested by presenting two identical cubes side by side, and if they brush against one on the left with their noses, they receive a sugar pellet reward, while the right produces nothing.
Rats that are in wheel access environment successfully correct almost two times compared to the other groups.

At the beginning of the test, the cube is 30cm apart, but getting closer and closer together until they almost touch.

This experiment was designed to test how well the mice are in separate two memories that are very similar.
Just as man can remember his dinner yesterday and the day before or the recall or where they parked.

The largest increase seen in the final trial stage, when the box was so close to the right and left almost touch them, according to a report in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Mice in the second group (without access to running wheel) got much worse on tests because their memories of the cube to be too similar to each other.

M Bussey told the Guardian: "At this stage, the experiment, two rats were given a second memory cube is very similar.

This is when they have to distinguish between two cube and prove that new brain cells really make a difference. "

He added: "We know that exercise can be good for healthy brain function, but this exercise (jogging & running), this provides us with a mechanism to give effect to the brain."

Also the scientists tried to wrongfoot the mice by switching the square That produced a food reward but the running mice were the resource persons Quicker to catch on Pls scientists Them changed around.

Scientists are also trying to deceive mice by changing the cube that produced food when touched, and the results are rats in group-enabled access to the wheels run faster to catch and remember the cube which is true.

Winners of Nobel Prize in Physics "Wolfgang Ketterle, " said the run to give him time to solve problems

In the group of rats who ran, they ran an average of 15 miles (24km) per day. Brain tissue taken from mice showed that mice in this group has grown gray matter fresh in their brains during the experiment.

Tissue samples from the dentate gyrus of the brain, one of the few regions in the adult brain can grow new cells, revealed an average of 6000 new brain cells have been created, when we are jogging and running.

Previous studies in people with depression have found that their symptoms can be improved if they exercised regularly. Some antidepressants are currently employed by encouraging the growth of new brain cells.

This also proves that exercise can also reduce stress, and spur the growth of new brain cells via a hormone called cortisol.

The Cambridge researchers joined with colleagues at the U.S. National Institute on Aging in Maryland to investigate the effect of several days running.

cause the growth of hundreds of thousands of new brain cells that improve the ability to recall memories without confusing them, a skill that is essential for learning and other cognitive tasks, the researchers said.

Many great thinkers have said they enjoy jogging. Nobel Prize-winning physicist Wolfgang Ketterle has said: 'When I walk, I think about everything: physics, family problems, plans for the weekend. I have not made major discoveries on the run, but did not give me time to think about the problem. Some solutions are obvious, but they are only obvious when you're relaxed enough to find them. "
