Who manned Submarine Can Achieve Deepest Sea

Richard Branson, owner of Virgin companies, in early April it announced the latest mission of Virgin, Virgin Oceanic's. This mission aims to send a submarine pilot to 5 points in every ocean of the deepest ocean existing in the world with submarines, known as the Deep Flight Challenger. Created by Hawkes Ocean Technologies, where the idea originally found by Steve Fossett, the pilot as well as adventurers who died before he could complete the journey to the Mariana Trench, 36,201 feet below sea level. The trench is the deepest place on the planet.

Now, Richard Branson and his partner Chris Welsh plans to continue the idea of Steve Fosset, with the aim to increase human knowledge in the field of marine research as well as explore the place which has not been touched humans. The first dive will be conducted this year (2011) in the Mariana Trench (deepest point of the ocean) which is located in the Pacific ocean. This submarine will break the world record as the first submarine capable of carrying human who reaches the point of the deepest sea.

"Ships along the 5.5 meters that will dive up to 10 972. meters (36 thousand feet)," Branson said during a press conference in Newport Beach, California.

Richard Branson owner of Virgin Group, stressed that the ship is worth 17 million dollars rather than as a means of tourism can reply messages and the ride with the cost of certain payments by certain circles, the boat is fully intended for research and breaking world records.

This ship is made of carbon fiber and strongest metals on earth, titanium. Ships in the design of the cockpit like a jet fighter, which can withstand the pressure in the water to 13 million pounds. This submarine has a maximum speed of 3 knots with speed dive 350 feet (106 meters) per minute, in support with the supply of oxygen for 24 hours. This ship is equipped with sampling technology system, where when the boat dive, this tool will filter out all forms of microbes and viruses in the sea for materials research.
